  • Known for their large portions of breakfast foods (courtesy of Man vs Food), we came here to fill our bellies with 'cakes and bacon. One can always walk it off with a stroll along Fremont. The bonus here wasn't the fact that the prices are very decent or that the cakes were bigger than our platter but that here, they use fresh ingredients.....and a lot of them. The Tractor Driver Combo was served with fresh fruit, the cake had huge blueberries (and not the frozen with syrup kind) and two eggs cooked perfectly. The service was a-ok, oj fresh squeezed and the bar area (where we sat) was kept very clean and orderly. Bar is open seating. If a table is preferred, plan at least a 15min wait as this place is popular. 5 stars for the music (Skid Row and The Scorpions for breakfast?!?!) and service, 4 stars as the potatoes were too "soft" (requested crispy).
