| - Fantastic! It's hard to find great ethnic food in Phoenix, but this is one of them. I met the owner, Lan. She even took a minute to sit down with us while we ate. She told us she gave up a great engineering job to do her love, cooking. She's a smart lady. First off, the place is CLEAN! She was proud to tell me about the extra steps they take to not cut corners to make sure everything is Fresh.
I let her choose what we ate, which was Bun Bo Hue, a spicy beef soup to die for! Next was a steam bun filled with pork and egg. OMG, I ate 2 of them, and they are huge! Next was spring roll, and even though I'm not a huge fan of spring rolls, these were super fresh and flavorful.
The bill for 2 of us, stuffing our faces, was $16. Now don't be put off, the place is in a huge open market with general seating, but it's very family friendly. Not to mention, a few other shops to try out there. Very different experience from the everyday.
