Lolabar is a small bar in the North end of Leslieville, in a converted loft building on the southwest corner of Dundas and Carlaw.
In the summer, you can enjoy the large patio. There's ample seating outside. They have lots of landscaping and take good care of the flowers and trees.
In the winter, you're reminded how small it is inside.
I've noticed Lolabar gradually getting busier over the last few years as the neighbourhood has filled in. There are two more buildings under construction nearby. When they are complete, I have a feeling that Lolabar will be packed.
I'm not a fan of the some of the regular customers here so that keeps me from stopping in too often. It's also too smokey for me at times. However, the guys that run the place are nice enough.
Drink prices are average. They could use more selection, particularly in the draft beer category.
