  • We stayed there for 6 nights the beginning of October. Nice rooms, beds were fairly comfy, rooms a good size, nice pool, breakfast was good and free. The lounge was a bit strange. Only open until 10 pm unless the bartender felt like closing early at 8 or 9 which happened 3 of the nights we were there. That was kind of a bummer since we didn't want to drive somehwere to have a few drinks after visiting with our grandkids. The one thing that was really annoying was the night of the Pres debate the bar TV's were on the debate and the manager put it on the overhead speakers very loud. I don't go to relax in a lounge to listen to poitical stuff. The baseball playoffs were on, there were only 6 of us in the bar and some of us were watching the ball game. We had to leave it was so annoying. The East Coast is a bit different than Alaska though so I chalked it up to that. The staff were all very helpful and nice. Would recommend unless you want a 5 star expensive place. The price was higher than I wanted to pay but low for the area.
