D's was always an OK stop in the neighborhood - a good in-between from the bars that are a little too divey for the the GF to the sit-down restaurants that are either BYOB or too formal for us. Sometimes you just want fries and a beer! D's fries are great, some of the best I've had. And having the beer cave is a great add-on, no worrying about what's on draft. You can find whatever that suits you and try new things! Burgers are also a good value and leave you stuffed.
The rest of the food menu is pretty bland. Dogs are OK but on the overpriced, as are the sandwiches/hoagies. Staff is usually attentive, and if I can't find my server, I can always flag someone else down with no hassle. The drafts are over-priced and can be hit or miss.
What really takes D's down is this:

In a neighborhood where residents found a noose in front of their house, a business who's owner who thinks it's OK to use shoe polish as part of a Halloween costume and then a 'sorry I offended anyone post' isn't one I want to patronize. I suggest you consider the same.
