While our initial mortgage experience with McFarland was OK subsequent interaction has not been satisfactory. We've found them to be unresponsive when we've needed answers or actions. Several years ago we stopped having them accrue for our tax payments after they failed to get us our tax check on time to pay it for the tax year. This despite calling them daily to try and determine where our tax check was. Though I asked they never explained what went wrong. But it should not have gone wrong to begin with.
Their online experience is also far behind the industry standard, that being what I can rely on with my other banks.
While we kept our mortgage with them we did no other banking because of their subpar responsiveness and la-de-da approach to my money interests
