  • I don't normally write reviews, but this visit was absolutely horrible. First off we went at 8:00 pm on a Friday. It wasn't busy at all- we were seated at a booth that was covered in this sticky film. When our server came, she had just gotten done smoking and it was very apparent when she asked us if we wanted anything to drink. It was just a rude smell that enveloped our booth. We ordered a pretzel for an appetizer. It took my husband a while to nail down what he wanted, so by the time she did come back to take our order, we figured the pretzel was going to be there soon. I also ordered a beer and it took forever to get that as well. I ordered the fish and chips, my husband ordered the 2:00 am burger cooked medium with a side of mac & cheese. When our server brought our food- because that was the only other time we saw her- we politely told her we never received our pretzel. She said she would get right in it- and she did- but brought it with our food and didn't make any advance to take a % off of our bill or anything. She said the kitchen had made a mistake by not filling the paper in the machine and that part of the kitchen was behind. I completely understand that things like this can happen- but I feel like it's the servers job to then make it nice and offer to cover your appetizer. Anyway- our food was served and husbands burger was well done- he asked for medium. We were starving at this point so there was no way we were going to send it back. Our drinks went empty and she was no where to be found and so other server came by and filled us up. It was just an annoying experience. We have never ate here before other than grabbing some beers in the bar and maybe a couple appetizers. I can tell you for sure that we will never be back to eat at the restaurant again. Just sucks because the bar is always very on top of it. We don't get date nights often because we have twins that are 2... so when we go out we always are looking for a good experience. I didn't have to cook or clean so I am thankful for that- but I just hope that they can get their stuff together so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
