  • Very friendly staff, helpful with nursery planning and selection of plants - and they do have a huge amount to choose from, which makes you think that they might be visiting if the (seemingly large) selection at your local big box is no longer doing it for you. To go along with that can seem like some large prices, but the hands-on service at Pikes will perhaps make up some of the difference. They also offer some classes to help with selecting a particular plant, but it seems that some are, like those DIY classes at the big box, mostly just to get you in the door (naturally - this is to be expected). The big difference is that they serve goodies and have giveaways, which is a nice touch. Definitely worth stopping in, if nothing else, as the customer service is certainly good, even if you just want to browse around a bit.
