| - Ok I have to write a review for this place. It is attached to the Main supermarket here. Who knew? And right next door to my favorite Lee's Korean restaurant. Me spreading the love . This small desert shop had snow ice small menu where I went with the fruit dish. I also ordered the chocolate Nutella fish waffles. Hard to find chocolate stuffed fish where i live. I always see the yuckie red bean stuff waffle fishes. When the guy delivered my fruit snow ice dish, I didn't expect it to look like a volcano with mochi on top of a red bean scoop that is surrounded by fruits and sprinkled with graham dust powder. Visually that is pretty elaborate looking! I was originally expecting just plain mango snow ice with just fruits like watermelon , kiwi , strawberry , cantaloupe . Without the toppings, the snow ice wouldn't have much flavor to stand alone.
As i mentioned earlier, I hate red beans. Why Asians love it beats me and I am Asian! LOL Anyway this version of red bean is ok for my tastes. The bean is small and mushy so it goes well with dessert. Just don't give me red bean soup or I will become violent!
Okay so Las Vegas versions of Snow ice, is that it seems snow ice needs toppings to make the flavors stand out more. I am thinking it has to do with triple digit heat this style of snow ice is popular.
I normally prefer plain snow ice without toppings, just fruits and nothing else. Come to California and try their versions of snow ice in San Francisco's Bay Area.
Oh, when the guy brought me my lovely fish waffles I was really excited and haven't had a Nutella version in ages! My first bite and ewe! It was a red bean fish waffle! Was this some cruel joke?! I went up to tell the guy I had wanted chocolate fish. He said don't worry he will make me a batch of chocolate ones and that I can keep the red bean ones. I said well ok. I was holding the half eaten fish and decided to eat it and not waste it. Then I thought well, it doesn't taste that bad, but I had my heart set on hot, oozing chocolate waffle fish. Finally the hot batch came and I said thank you so much! And boy was my first bite amazing! Yummy! I am in love with my chocolate fish, so don't bother me as I am in dream world .
