  • I've been here a few times over the years and while I was going to give the pizza three stars, I'm certain that it deserves four. Especially because of the price ($12 for 17" cheese pie). This isn't fancy pizza, and in New York it would probably be considered average, but it's nice to find a place that makes something similar to what you'd find in NYC. Yeah, as somebody else said, it can be greasy due to the amount of cheese, but if you must, just take a napkin and dab some of the grease off. The sauce, however, be sure not to dab that off. The sauce is rather delicious, with a pronounced tomato and basil flavor, in addition to some standard seasonings and sometimes I even taste a slight anchovy finish. I'm not sure about that one, though. I may just have had a few too many. It's definitely not the best pizza I've ever had, but I just really like this place, even when sober.
