I'm at this post office almost everyday because I have a PO box here as well need to ship packages very often. Employees are either very helpful or completely ignorant especially when they are trying to find a package they lost. I weigh my packages (you'll need a scale for this) and print my shipping labels at home to avoid waiting in the long lines and it has really saved me on wait time. Most of the time I can just walk in and put my already prepared packages in the appropriate drop box and then be on my way which is really convenient. Sometimes the bigger drop box is full and you'll have to take your packages and leave them on the far right counter for pick up. I'm not crazy about leaving the packages out in the open near the customer line for anybody to help themselves to, so double check your tracking numbers if you do leave packages there to make sure they got picked up because the post office will only cover lost packages that have been entered through the system as "picked up" even if you already created a shipping label. I've had the PO box about 8 years now and still get other people's (I assume previous occupants) mail and junk. They have a drop area for other people's mail and I just pile it back in there for them to deal with. Inside is fairly clean, but the windows on the outside haven't been cleaned in years because I see the same alien looking figures drawn into the dirt on the windows. There is a drive up box outside for letters and sometimes you can find the mobile truck taking up parking space and usually with a closed sign in the lot. There is a kiosk inside to purchase stamps for those wanting to skip the line.
