  • Had the best time with friends here last night! The place has a very welcoming and happy vibe to it. We had drinks at the bar first. I had the very best martini I have ever had - I asked the bartender to make something for me that he would recommend - it was fabulous. I'll have to go back to get another one! I also had the gin and tonic and it was delicious too. The drinks are all made with care and attention to detail. They may take a little longer but the taste is so worth it. We moved to a table in the back for dinner. The dining room is cozy and I just love the mosaic artwork. It's very unique and pretty. The elephant's face mosaic is really something to see. It's huge - and beautiful. We decided to get several dishes to share - all were very good. The fish and chips is a great twist on the classic - I asked for more chips because they were so good! Beef wellington bites, bombay greens were all great. The lamb lollipops were very tasty if a little over done. A great start for a brand new place - which, by the way, is just what Dormont needs. We will definitely be back.
