  • Spak Brothers is a great pizza and hoagie shop along Penn Avenue. The pizza and hoagies that I've had are always delicious, and I find myself returning to this little shop when I'm in Bloomfield. For me personally, I find it best to order and take my food to go. The shop doesn't offer much seating for customers dining in, but it does offer some neat old-school arcade games to occupy your time while you wait for your order. One aspect that I believe could be improved is the checkout/order counter. A more modern and efficient cash register system could help to alleviate the constant struggle I noticed during my latest visit. Tasking one employee with over the phone orders, in-person orders, and processing payments resulted in a large line of customers waiting in the already crammed pizza shop.
