| - I've been a customer for 4+ years, I first came here and loved it under the previous owner. The food is great, and I do think it's a good value if you do not buy all the overpriced beverages. I think the new (current) owner thinks pretty highly of himself-he spent like 15 minutes talking to me at my table (on a non busy day, 2 yrs ago) about how he is a real chef and was going to add menu items, etc. I think that's great (no new notable items have been added since original owner tho), but bottom-line, if you can't care for your loyal customers, in a timely manner, you will ultimately lose your customers.
I visited yesterday, a Tuesday, and arrived/placed my order 9:40 am. I waited 25 minutes to receive my order. The party that ordered after me got their order about 7-10 minutes before me. The couple that ordered before me received their food in less than 15 mins. I had to ask where my order was. The cashier who took my order said she would have to check. It came about 5 minutes after my asking. I ask the person who delivered it, what the delay was. She said they were just really backed up. I asked why the party who ordered after me already had and well on their way to eating half their plates. She said she would need to check. She came back and said it was because they ordered sweet (vs. savory crepe). Not a great reason IMO. And no apology for my wait of 25 minutes for a crepe!, on a Tuesday morning, with only one party ordering in front of my order. Seems really unreasonable.
After being a loyal customer for years, I will not return. I will need to find another great crepe place in the Valley that values their customers.
