The campus is beautiful.
Ample parking, great location.
The greeters are awesome and the interior is lovely.
The nurse was helpful and kind, as was the receptionist.
The doctor seemed to have better things to do. As a pulmonary specialist he didn't want to see a short video of another ailment (fit's rather painful) I have. After talking he decided he did want to see it, then made a series of wise-ass comments that he found funny.
He focused on one aspect of my pulmonary issues, and seemed to be unconcerned about a life altering shortness of breath issue.
As he couldn't fit me into a standard treatment box, he said I needed more test and needed to see another specialist. He sent me to scheduling.
The lady at scheduling had difficulty finding the requested test, and when she did she said something like: We are busy and short staffed. I don't know when we can get you in. Maybe next month, but I'm not sure. We'll call you. She couldn't wait to get to the next person in line.
The test are normally performed by a respiratory therapist or a nurse, and they are relatively quick.
I was in and out in about an hour.
Drove over 200 miles for that and spent over $300. They act like travel is easy and cost free.
I'm asking my local physician to get me to Barrows instead.
Wish I had read reviews before making the appointment.
