Despite frequenting this restaurant for the last 3-4 months, we finally decided to go elsewhere. The restaurant is 3 minutes from our home and the food is pretty good, but we feel so unwelcome by the owner.
Sure, I have three boys who love sushi. Sure, they each probably eat more food than the $22 cost of dinner. But it's disturbing that the owner (and sushi chef) glares at my family when we walk in. Haha. I would prefer that they raise prices than cringe when big sushi eaters take advantage of their pricing structure.
We used to laugh about it amongst ourselves, but quite frankly, I can't support a business owner who doesn't appreciate their regular customers.
We went to Sasa Sushi on Cheyenne the other night and service was much better.
