| - I'm so mixed about this place. I love the concept of a local market and how they sell and serve a lot of vegan food, but their stock never seems full. It is always low to medium and some of the produce doesn't seem the freshest.
In terms of their hot food, most of it isn't hot (at least for the times I go there) and you have to reheat it yourself in the microwave past the cash register. I've had their lentil loaf and lentil cakes and they were pretty tasty but at night, sometimes they don't seem to care. Yesterday, I got the lentil loaf and it came apart as the person was putting it in the bag. As it came apart, I said "it's okay, leave it" (since I pay by the gram) and she added it in anyways. So I literally had to pay for a broken lentil loaf, and while it all still goes in my tummy, presentation goes a long way. It just made me feel ripped off.
Verdict: Personally, for prep food, I'd rather go to Whole Foods and if I'm in the area, I want hot food, I would go to Buddha Bowls next door as it's fresher and better value IMO.
