This was my second time coming here. The first time I had a good experience, the lady who put on my acrylics was nice and took her time to make sure everything looked good.
This time? Completely different story. My friend and I walked in around 7:30 PM. I could sense they were annoyed we both needed fills.
My lady didn't talk much. Which I don't mind. But I noticed she was moving very quickly. As she was filing my nails she CUT my finger. It hurt so bad. I'm cringing now thinking about it. Does she apologize? No. Just sprays my finger with alcohol from a random spray bottle (which I find super unsanitary) and starts dabbing it with a paper towel. It's clearly still bleeding yet she continues to try and shape my nail. There was blood on her file..she sprays it more and dabs it again and continues to the next nail.
So after she's done with that she puts a layer of something (not sure what it was) on my left hand and puts it under the light. Then she takes my right hand and goes to put the polish on without the same layer the left hand got. I tried to ask her about it and she just looked at me. I kept trying to explain myself and she starts talking about me to the guy next to her in another language. She then puts A LAYER OF TOP COAT on my right hand....that wasn't what she put on my left hand. I didn't think much of it, but the next day you could tell the nails on my right hand looked thicker. I went in to talk to the owner. I explain what happened (including the cut) to the lady who walks up to me. She doesn't seem phased at all and says the owner is out. I look over and I see the lady who did my nails. She's giving me the dirtiest look. The lady tells me after she's done you can talk to her.
So I do and I try to explain what happened last night with the extra layer. She insists she did not do that. Trying to tell me it looks thicker because of the sparkle? I tell her no, this hand is fine (my left one) I just want you to redo the right. Finally she agrees. But she's not happy. Mumbling to her coworkers about me in another language. I knew she was talking to me because she was saying top coat. Anyways after she acted very rude and I even told her thank you. All I really wanted was an apology. Being cut should have been compensated in some way. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.
