  • Omg they are SO rude there. This chick at the register actually refused to sell me lychees for the stupidest reason EVER. Disappointing since I haven't had fresh ones since I was a kid in Hong Kong. Very similar to some experiences I had there overseas actually as they weren't very kind to black people and that says a LOT. I think what just happened had to do with my race and NOT their policy to "only sell 2lb bags" of lychee rather than the 1lb of loose ones I wanted to purchase. I was very pleasant. She was SO rude about it. Sigh... Even though I live next door, I'm not going back.
