My husband had been wanting to go back to Italy for pistachio gelato so when I found this place, we decided to check it out for Father's Day.
We ordered the meat and cheese plate, the eggplant bruschetta, the caprese, and a couple of paninis. And gelato of course!
The meat and cheese plate was good but $9.50 was high for the quantity.
The caprese was good, and the paninis were good. The bruschetta was Amazing!!! The ingredients were fresh and piled high (who knew how good pickled eggplant tasted???). The bread was crusty and held the ingredients without getting soggy (worst for soggy is Postino's! Why do people love that place???).
They have a market to get Italian food to take home.
The gelato was creamy and good. Hard to decide on which flavor. I liked the creme brulee and strawberry best of the ones we tried. Pistachio was a tad too nutty for me.
Apparently, they also have daily pasta specials but we weren't made aware until after we ate. Bummed about that but worth coming back to try! Plus, we forgot to use the Yelp coupon we bought. So definitely going back.
It's small and had a brisk business. You can BYOW (wine) and the will provide glasses (no corkage fee). We loved it and will be back.
Grazie!
