I have had the worst time getting the couches I ordered 2 months ago. First I was told they had them. Paid the money and left. A day later I get a call that the couch isn't in stock and I would have to wait over a month to get it or I could get a refund. I said as long long as I have it by the end of June it would be fine. (I'm having a huge party in July and want somewhere for guests to sit) So she said it would be all coming in on the 28th and delivered the 29th but then he ottoman would not be in. I said that would be fine and I would wait. After ordering furniture from Crate and Barrel, Furniture Plus, West Elm, Living Spaces a month later I was already getting delivery calls. So I called back down to Down East to see what time they would be there the next day to deliver. When I called they said my furniture didn't make it and I would be lucky to get it on the 6th of July!!!!!!!! I am fuming. This is another screw up from Down East and even though they were nice about it I still felt like it was just going to fall through the cracks and I would have no family room furniture for the house party. The told me to call corporate which I gladly did and I admit I was not nice. The flakiness and the many mistakes I was kinda over. The regional manger had to go do footwork to figure out why my couches and chair did not ship. Well as of a few minutes ago they called back and said it won't get here til the 6th. Nothing I can do about it. I said if it does not get here they will need to give me a loaner couch and she agreed she would do it. So I guess we will see if they hold true to what they promised this time. I don't know if I would recommend the furniture if they don't have it in stock....just be prepared that things might not be what they say.
