  • I have been going to AMC 24 for YEARS. And I have been watching it slowly deteriorate and the prices rapidly increasing (a movie ticket used to cost $6.25, now it's $9.75!). Recently, I went there and ordered a way-too-salty hot dog with stale buns and a blue raspberry icee. The icee tasted like bad beer! I asked the employees for another batch, but it still tasted disgusting. (I received a free bottle of water which was nice...) The theatres are rarely cleaned and it's NOT the place to go on a Friday night due to the overwhelming amount of screaming teenagers. It's also a quietly known fact that the back rows are disgusting and only reserved for hormone-filled teenagers on dates. The bathrooms are also rarely cleaned and checked (what does a girl have to do to get a roll of toilet paper?!). The only times I attend AMC is on an occasional Thursday when prices are at $6.25 for students. I highly recommend smuggling in your own food (and toilet paper) and wearing protective clothing due to the bad conditions of the seats.
