rev:text	My sister hosted a "Maid's and Mom's" mani/pedi party at Urban Venus in preparation for my wedding on a Thursday night. Both moms only had a pedi and myself and bridesmaids all had the combo. The booking process was a bit frustrating as I am not sure they actually have a dedicated receptionist, but when we arrived they seemed to have everything sorted out. They allowed us to bring some delish snacks and offered to allow alcohol with a $12 liquor license, which we opted out of. During our services, they had the movie 'Bridesmaids' playing which was quite adorable. The services themselves were done very well, I haven't had such great looking cuticles after a mani without paying a fortune at a high end spa. Both the shellac on my hands and polish on toes look great and have lasted beautifully so far. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the services. The only downfall that I would suggest is that there could be a lesson in professionalism amongst the staff. In our one on one dealings they were great but the discussions and minor disagreements about who could leave when left me rating them a 3/5 when without those conversations it could have easily been a 5/5.
