  • What a treat this place was! On a "budget" trip from L.A, I found this on the list of free museums from our Discovery Cube membership. What a pleasant surprise-although my seven year old was originally disturbed by the giant rooms of "real,dead" animals, and originally refused to so much as walk through the dinosaur room! Eventually we all got it together, and made our way all the way through to the learning room in the far back corner-where my boys did some art, and to our surprise, got to see a critter presentation! They even got to pet a tarantula, bearded dragon, and California King snake! We had a great time, away from the strip, somewhere child friendly, and learning too!!!
