I have eaten at this restaurant several times over the years. It's ok, I've mainly gone to meet friends as I prefer authentic Mexican cuisine over the "Americanized" Mexican cuisine that is served at La Unica. I ordered the Pollo a La Crema, the chicken was tough, extremely tough and the sauce did not have poblano peppers, as its always had when I've ordered it in the past. What changed with this dish? What changed with this restaurant? Also, the premium margarita I ordered was weak and not mixed well. I don't know what's happened with this restaurant but I will not go back. Again, I was only there because a family member wanted to go. I'm D-O-N-E... there's a far better authentic Mexican restaurant in Huntersville about a mile from this place.
