  • I've been going to Mac's for years and find the quality going down. The beef brisket is not good anymore. I went to the Cornelius restaurant for take out of the brisket plate. Three thick slices of brisket that were tough and chewy. The beans and rice side were good, the slaw, meh. The Texas toast was not even toasted, more like bread with a smear of grease. I'm not going back. That meal was $16+. Not worth it. Sauceman's is way better.
