  • I am a carnivore through and through. But my MIL, who was in town visiting, is vegan, so we wanted to surprise her with an experience she can't get in her hometown. This place is fantastic. They use local ingredients and partner with local vegan businesses to make up most of their menu. We tried the Antipasto, Mama Mia, Chicken Pot Pie Gnocchi, and the Mushroom Madness Pizza. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was delicious. My pizza-loving husband said the pizza tasted just as good as, if not better than, regular pizza. And while the plant-based alternatives don't taste exactly like the meat its trying to imitate, it doesn't matter because it tastes good and the texture is right. We wrapped up the night with the Brownie Sundae. The ice cream. Oh the ice cream. It's almond milk based, which made me nervous because I am not almond milk's biggest fan, but by golly. It tasted just like good ol' fashioned ice cream. All of this to say, this meat eater will definitely be back to try the Thai Curry Bowl soon.
