| - A group of friends and I came to Vegas for a bachelor party, and we booked an atv tour with DeTourVegas. They offered a discounted rate for us and even picked us up from our hotel in a nice air conditioned van. They were very prompt and very friendly.
We drive to our site and we were distributed the gear we needed for our ride. They provide the gloves, helmet, goggles, and head sock. We were then given the choice to hop on whatever atv we wanted. Our guide provided us a quick tutorial of how our machines worked and hand signals that he were to use during our ride. Once we got that established, we were on our way.
Just be warned, you're gonna get very very dusty. There's just no avoiding it, so wear something that you don't mind getting dirty. Our guide also provided bottled water during our ride and took our photos and videos for us. We went on small trails, obstacles, flat dry lake bed areas, and wavy up and down trails. It was a great time had by all.
The only thing I wish that they would allow us to do, is to give riders some free time to ride around the lake bed at our own free will. There were a few times we just wanted to gun it but we couldn't because we were to stay behind our guide at all times. Still, it was an amazing time we had.
For those of you who think 2 hours isn't enough time, you'll see that it's actually plenty of riding time.
The best part, after your ride, they provide cold water, soft drinks, and beer for riders, along with snacks. It's amazing how refreshing a coors lite tastes after a long ride. Overall, I highly recommend this tour... The staff, professionalism, and experience is bar none.
