rev:text	Well, here's a follow up to my last review. Recently, we needed to get new tires on one of our cars. And, although I was very hesitant to go here again, I know that Ty asked me for another chance to win us back as customers. So, I stopped in to speak with Ty and get a quote ( I already got a quote from COSTCO, and wanted to see if they were in the ballpark as an option to go back to Discount). Anyway, I went in, and Ty was there, but busy with a customer. I spoke to "Mark" and he was easy to deal with, until it came to the purchase. It was the weekend after Thanksgiving, and he said I had to buy the "deal" that day, or I wouldn't get it. I was hoping to speak with Ty, since he called me after my last review and told me I had a free tire coming after my last fiasco there. So, with the pressure on from Mark, I figured I would bite the bullet and if anything, Ty would step up and adjust the price (If he truly meant it). After I got done with Mark, Ty was free, so I went over to say hello, and let him know I was back. I asked him if he remembered me from my last review and the phone call, and he said yes. Then he said "Glad you came back" and disappeared out the door. No "Oh, dod we get you your free tire?" or "I'll make it right" or anything to that effect. So, why say you remember me if you honestly don't? Anyway, we took the car in the following Saturday to get the tires installed, and met up with Ty. Again, not a word other than "We'll get these mounted for you". Ty, customers don't need to be placated, BS'd, or given some line that you think makes them feel better. We want honesty, and if you're going to offer something, stand behind it. That's it. I never "asked" for a free tire, it was offered. I never expect more than good service at a fair price. The price at Discount? fair, but certainly not great. The service at Discount? well below average. This last time we were in to drop off the car, two other people were frustrated and less than impressed. It's not rocket science, and it's not apparent at Discount Tire.
