| - Let me start again...you've got to be kidding me. I wrote a review a while ago, which Yelp waited to post. I immediately received a confrontational message from the owner. Not an apology for the multiple bad experiences, but a demanding, confrontational message. Then yesterday, Yelp messaged that they are pulling my review for lack of specifics. Well, here it is: I visited the store in April 2014 with my friend who needed a new "sticky" grip on her racquet. Apparently, employees did not know we were still in the store and began talking about us and making vulgar jokes. Another time (July 2014), my daughter walked in and was treated with indifference and a condescending manner. I had been warned by others in our Desert Ridge tennis group that the customer service sucks at this store. Judging by the response I got to my review and the obvious whining of the store owner to Yelp to remove my review, I am disgusted. Having been in the restaurant business for years, I know the importance of treating customers right. There ARE other places to go. Tennis Cabana is wonderful. In addition, there is another tennis store in Scottsdale, as well as another place to give business on the west side of town. If you want to read more about this store's customer service, click bottom of Yelp page "17 other reviews that are not currently recommended" (ie- stuff Yelp decided not to "recommend").
