  • I used to frequent one of the Golden Spoons by my house in Oceanside, which was awesome. I was really hoping this location would live up to that. Nope. Location is weird. It's in a tiny strip mall, on the backside, next to some trees that make it very hard to see from the street. The parking lot is also very dark. Kind of sketchy looking. Inside is very cramped and cluttered. The employees don't smile at all. The one that helped us even got my dad's order wrong. Not sure how you screw up yogurt with one topping. Speaking of toppings, they are really stingy with them. I ordered a small strawberry yogurt, with strawberries in syrup, and some little peanut butter cup things. The strawberries didn't even go all the way around my yogurt. Got like 5 peanut butter cups. Very disappointing. I probably won't be back, unless my extended family goes again, like tonight. I won't go out of my way. I'll just head to Purple Penguin.
