Five stars for kindness and accommodation! I cannot have gluten or any food that has been in contact with gluten. Most places don't understand what this means and I have to ask for and explain special precautions. When I apologetically asked them to please change their gloves, they looked at me with a smile and asked, "gluten allergy?" I nodded, and they quickly and HAPPILY switched out all the spoons for clean ones, changed their gloves, washed their hands, and got lettuce from a new container for me. I apologized for the inconvenience because I KNOW how much of a disruption this is for them, and I wish I didn't require such precautions. But the person preparing my food assured me that it absolutely wasn't a problem, and the manager behind him made sure I understood that every Chipotle should be doing the same for me.
Having to deal with this anytime I want to eat out has made it so that I simply don't anymore, but encountering such kindness from the staff at this Chipotle location actually brought tears to my eyes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
