  • Excellent outdoor patio view of the breathtaking Bellagio fountains! Reservation locked in 3 weeks in advance for 6:45 Friday night. I learned from fellow Yelpers it'll take an additional 45-1 hr for patio seating. Good thing we hit up Wicked Spoon for brunch! We came back around 7:30 and were led past the dim yet lively indoor seating and through the double doors granting entrance (or is it exit?) to the balcony patio overlooking the gorgeous water show every 15 min. I honestly thought our group of 3 would be seated at the 4 person table near the doors. Our lovely hostess led us to the middle of the balcony, front and center at the stone railing with no obstacles blocking our view! Getting starry eyed here. Perfect views!! Robert M. took great care of us. He came by every so often to make sure everything was to our liking, very hospitable. Soon he brought over focaccia and cheese crisps with an array of whole olives and dips! We started off with: Smoked salmon flatbread was loaded with the good stuff! A bit of red onion here and there, chive whipped potato, drizzled with caper crème fraîche. Portobello mushroom flatbread with white truffle oil! Wild mushroom purée, fontina cheese, red onions, I had portobello everyday this Vegas trip-- Shake Shack & pizza from Aria buffet but still loved this! Huge portions for ~$20! Mom & sis ordered grilled Nebraska beef tenderloin medium well. One was more red than the other. I tried some-- it's called tender for a reason. Decorated with asparagus on a bed of bacon polenta with chimichurri drizzle. I had the chicken "Parmesan" which did have some bone/cartilage still on it. Moist breaded chicken smothered in marinara, delicate greens and Parmesan, atop whipped potatoes with a bit of pesto and carrots, purple stalks of cauliflower. We almost said no to dessert but who says no to banana tiramisu? A twist on a classic Italian favorite, hints of banana fused into the light and fluffy cake garnished with thin sheets of dark chocolate! Terrific sweet notes to end an unforgettable meal! A few tips: *interactive touch screen menu outside near the check in podium *check book has a blue light in it for easy reading! *no restroom in the actual restaurant-- directly across from the podium outside, shared with the hotel *It gets cold on the patio during winter even with heating lamps-- bring a warm jacket. *check out the song list schedule for water shows: http://www.markslasvegas.com/bellagio-fountain-show-song-list-and-schedule/ Super stoked we got to watch/listen to the Titanic theme song My Heart Will Go On! We must've seen at least 6 shows while dining (every 15 min). Thank you for this incredible experience, Olives!
