  • PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO THE TEXT IN BOLD ON HOW WE GOT THE CHEAPEST TICKETS IN TOWN WITHOUT GOING TO A TIMESHARE PRESENTATION!!! Absinthe was a great show overall and the best out of 4 shows that we saw while in Vegas. The show is fun, contains a cool mixture of comic relief, acrobatics, singing, dancing, tap dancing, feats of strength, rollerblading, etc so it's a nice variety and believe it or not we enjoyed it more than Le Reve: The Dream, which was also a good show but in a different way and Absinthe was more our style. However, I did have a few grips... When I spoke with everyone who had seen or was trying to sell tickets to the show I was told that there wasn't a bad seat in the house, that's not true. Being that this is set in a circus tent, there is undoubtedly poles in certain places and that is okay because they aren't huge. Unfortunately due to the decorations for the show which are cool and eclectic, they have added thin closet doors to the bottom of each pole which for sure blocks certain people. In fact, the first place we were sat had a view of this and even the worker commented on the fact that that seat sucked and thankfully there were a few additional seats so they allowed us to slide down. Problem solved, but whoever gets stuck there, the show is going to suck for them... Speaking of seating, this was the biggest problem of the show. Another part of their awesome decorations is that each chair in the tent is a completely different vintage folding chair, some of which are literally too small for an adult to sit. No lie, everyone in the are commented on how comical it was. My 5 year would be about the perfect size for it and any adult would have discomfort sitting for the entire portion of a 100 minute show. For the price of tickets for this show which START at $99 plus the BS Las Vegas entertainment taxes of your first born child, they definitely need to fix these things. If these issues weren't there, then I would have given a 5/5. (HUGE SIDE NOTE HERE, TO GET THE ABSOLUTE CHEAPEST TICKETS YOU CAN GET FOR THE SHOW, YOU MUST GO TO THE 3RD PARTY TICKET VENDOR INSIDE THE CVS ON LAS VEGAS BLVD CLOSE TO THE ARIA HOTEL. AFTER SEARCHING FOR A FEW DAYS AT MANY VENDORS WE GOT OUR TICKETS THERE FOR $170.00 OUT THE DOOR WITH ALL TAXES INCLUDED. EVEN TIX4TONIGHT WEREN'T ABLE TO TOUCH THAT PRICE, TRUST ME...) On one last topic, there is a lot of comments about how blown away that many "non prude" adults find the show to be amazingly offensive and the craziest thing they've ever seen. The show is meant to be over the top offensive and every race, gender, sexual orientation, etc will be made fun of so if that isn't your bag then don't go because it's going to happen. The funny thing is, most of what they say and do is nothing that you won't see on HBO/Showtime these days but it's "too much". People are too funny... Enjoy the show!
