The hotel has many of the upscale - high end furnishings that I would expect for an Embassy Suites. I was in for a special weekend with my wife on a rewards stay and was initially put off by the $ 32.00 price tag for the parking.
Secondly, I was told that the hotel offered a shuttle service when I made my reservation - that was not true. The third issue was with the breakfast - dirty, unavailable tables everywhere, running out of food, utensils and napkins (very slow to restock), crazy long line for an omelette and just generally dirt surrounding.
My forth issue was the evening reception - although their bartender made decent drinks, their idea of snacks left me wondering just what they are thinking - not at all up to par for an Embassy Suites. The fifth issues was with several maintenance problems that I had reported to the front desk that were not addressed during the day as promised.
But what got them the 2 star rating - when we opened up the extra blanket for the sofa bed, we found it glued together with I can only imagine what bodily substance - made me wonder just what they consider clean linen and room.
I asked to have a manager call me since we had checked out before 6 AM and they couldn't be bothered to honor my request. Just what kind of Embassy Suites are they running. Truly not worth the 50,000 Hilton Honor point for each night!
