| - This update has been a long time coming, but I've learned since my visit that Wind Mobile runs a very murky business.
Yes, they use SIM cards, but the Sim cards are virtually unusable on any phone except for the T-Mobile locked specific phones. Yet, T-Mobile also sells unlocked phones as Americans would never fall for restrictionary practices like these.
The employees are pretty shady in their clarification of the network limitation, and I was only able to get this information after persistently prying for the info.
So, yes, they sell Sim cards, but good luck trying to find a phone that will work with their (AWS/1700 Mhz/BandIV) network. And if you do in fact, buy a phone with Wind, good luck trying to use it with any other network. I'll be sticking with Rogers/Fido for now, at least they sell world phones.
