| - This review is ONLY for the GoGadgets on Decatur. Where do I even start? I'll try to keep it short. December, took in my phone to have the screen replaced. Oh look... The proximity sensor isn't working. (When you hold the phone up to your ear when on the phone the iPhone screen will turn off, that's what the proximity sensor does) didn't feel like driving 30 minutes to have it fixed, oh well. Shouldn't have happened in the first place. February... Was having battery issues, so I came in for a replacement. I bought the Yelp deal ($5 for $12.) lady at front desk told me it's only for repairs... Uhh... What's the difference, should have been clarified in the deal. She then told me she could honor SOME of it... Ok??? At this point I didn't care, I just wanted my phone fixed.... 10 minutes later I receive my phone and... It was good!! All was good!.... For about 2 hours.... Then it turned off.... And didn't turn back on.... I immediately came back the next day and told them they gave me a F'd up battery. Then... THIS LADY... says "do you have your receipt or a picture of the receipt" .... "No... I was just here not even 24 hours ago do you remember me??" She says ... "No." Whatever. Anyways, the technician comes out and says he doesn't know if he has anymore battery's but he'll go check for them. Ok... *10 minutes later* "yeah we don't have anymore but we just placed an order for them and they will be here by tomorrow morning" .... Really... What kind of repair shop doesn't have the inventory for simple batteries. Stupid. Anyways, I leave pissed off... But it's okay I'll just come back in the morning because he said the batteries will be in by the morning. *next day comes around* i work morning shifts (8-4:30) so I didn't have the time to come in the morning. But it's okay I'll just go after work. Keep in mind I haven't had my phone for 2 days at this point... Most frustrating thing ever. 5 o clock rolls around and I decide to call the shop just in case.... And guess what? I got some lame sorry excuse about how it was the Delivery companies fault for the batteries not being delivered. Obviously the delivery companies fault for not delivering the package under 24 hours. I'm just in disbelief at this point. 0 customer service whatsoever. All he had to say was "sorry, try our sister store" which was 20 more mins out of the way... Seriously?¿? How about YOU show some customer service and get the batteries from that store and replace the DEAD battery that you charged me for? I can't believe I didn't even get offered a refund at this point. I however... Did end up visiting the sister store and their customer service was beyond amazing, best service I've ever received. I'll save it for the review on their store on their Yelp page soon. Anyways... I highly... HIGHLY do NOT recommend coming to this store for your repairs... Make the extra trip and visit their sister store. Never have I ever received such poor, distasteful customer service in my life. My rating is a 1 star but if I could rate it 0 I would... Possibly -5 in matter of fact.
P.S ..Some advice to the Decatur store... Talk to your sister store staff to see how a REAL store should be run.
P.S.S... Most of the reviews on here are just because they offer discounts if you write a 5 star review.
