| - I wish I would have read the reviews of this place before I decided to trust that this facility would help me with my mental illnesses...
First bad sign was the "interview" I had for the first appt. It was supposed to be on Tuesday Morning 8AM and I got a call from their office at 7:30 MONDAY NIGHT, to be notified that they needed to reschedule. I finally got seen Thursday afternoon. Basically they have you open up and spill all the terrible things that have happened to you and that are currently happening. Then with NO COMPASSION they have you leave and informed me to call Monday so we can start your therapy with the therapist that "best fits your needs"....
So here it is... Monday! I called at 8:00 in the morning, right when they opened so I could book an urgent appt, since I suffer from bipolar type 1 and have fallen into a deep depression and desperately need to talk to my therapist that they were supposed to pair me with. I was told they had an opening today at 2:00. So, I am literally walking out the door to go to my appt (which took every ounce of strength to even get out of bed due to depression) and I get a phone call from them saying that the therapist "just left the office cause she isn't feeling well, but can see you tomorrow morning" I hung up devastated and more depressed than ever, since I already felt worthless and the receptionist confirmed my feeling. She didn't apologize or anything and to give me this news 30 mins before my appt is highly unprofessional. So, I called back and stated how I felt and the situation I am in and how I don't want to see who they have me paired with because if she is "so ill" today, I don't want a call tomorrow 30 min before my appt saying she isn't there again. I can't handle that lack of reliability, especially when I suffer from multiple mental illnesses. Then the receptionist got an attitude with me and said "well what makes you even certain we would do that again, she might be here tomorrow" like I'm the bad guy for thinking realistically! I was then put on a 10 minute hold and told the soonest someone else can see me is in 2 weeks.... When I specifically said in my "interview" I need to be seen ASAP and was told that's not a problem... Seems like it is a problem... And it seems that everyone has the same problem!
So listen to everyone else's reviews and DO NOT GO TO HARMONY HEALTHCARE! They obviously don't listen and they have you open up like a book for nothing because they obviously didn't read what was going on with me, nor had any idea what I was being seen for! It's like they have no clue that they are dealing with mentally ill people and their MINDS! I will NEVER go there and I will let anyone who thinks of going there to ignore that place like the plague!
