Trying to be a better adult so I made an appointment to have my skin checked for any sun related issues.
The waiting room looked like a very high end spa, and was pretty full of patients. Plenty of comfy chairs and magazines, and again- the place is peaceful and you can tell they are trying hard to have everyone be comfy from the start.
I was taken back to an exam room by Dulce and she gathered background info and informed me how the exam worked. Dr. Layton popped into the room and I was blown away by her kindness and obvious concern for her patients. In today's day and age- you just don't see this level of tremendous bedside manner and care. Dr. Layton explained what she was doing and provided a comprehensive exam. I asked for some tips on my skin and how to improve some problem areas. Dr. Layton gave me some great tips and took the time to answer every question. Dr. Layton provides Nordstrom's level care, and genuinely cares about her profession- and the people she serves. How refreshing.
We all hear horror stories of poor service and other bad experiences. Fair enough. But when you have an amazing experience you need to tell everyone.
If you are in need of dermatologist services (which in AZ- you are...) I strongly urge you to call and make an appointment with Dr. Layton. The whole process was easy and it's strange to leave an appointment smiling and feeling better than when you started- but I assure you that will be your experience.
Thanks Dr. Layton & Spectrum Dermatology. You guys are crushing it and we appreciate it so much.
