  • All my life I had always dreamed of watching a baseball game at the Skydome/Rogers Centre. I wasn't sure why, but it probably had something to do with the uniqueness of watching a game in a dome. Having already been to 13 MLB ballparks, it was going to be tough to top a few that we had been to, such as PNC Park or AT&T Park, but we left here really loving the stadium! When we arrived and witnessed the dirty looking, run-down exterior we had bad memories come back to life of our experience going to O.co Coliseum in Oakland. That was the worst stadium we had been to up till this point. However, we immediately noticed a major difference: the absolutely insane devoted fanbase here! We arrived at 10:20am for a 1pm game and, to our major shock, there were very very longgggg lines outside of each gate already! This was almost 3 hours before game time! Apparently, they take their promotional giveaway days seriously and on this day they were giving away a commemorative bobblehead! Once we got in, to summarize, the stadium really blew our minds away! We loved the wide walkways where the concessions were located. We loved the open retractable roof and view of the CN Tower from within. We loved the sea of bright blue seats everywhere as it just brightened up the whole place. Most importantly, the stadium was packed on this day and we LOVED the passion of the fans! Everything about the interior of the stadium was great! Surely, the stadium can use some updates, like a new paint job, but the stadium had that character a baseball stadium should have. I would absolutely come back to watch another game if I ever had the chance! One side tip: There were a few parking lots within a block or 2 of the stadium, including a few underground parking lots that only charged $10 for an entire day of parking so take advantage of those!
