The Cosmo hotel definitely has a great location on the strip. It's a new and very modern hotel with a lot of great dining options; however, there is something a little bit different about the Cosmo compared to some of the other hotels in Las Vegas (such as the Encore). I think it's because it tends to attract a younger crowd so the rooms look and feel like they've seen a lot of partying.
The Cosmo also has smaller casino floor compared to some of the other hotels. The hotel does feature the beautiful 3 story chandelier bar which is definitely worth checking out. The room rates are very reasonable and the Bellagio fountain view rooms are amazing. The suites are also very spacious with small kitchen, livingroom area, desk, multiple TVs, and a luxurious bathroom. Again, the suite feels like they have seen a lot of rough nights which takes away from the feeling that you get at some of the other higherend hotels. I also think the people theme throughout the hotel is a little creepy.
Bottom line, not sure the Cosmo will be our "go to" hotel spot but it will definitely do the job if you need somewhere to book on the south end of the strip.
