| - I should preface my review with two things--one, I think eating a massive amount of food in one sitting is mildly gross unless the food is fabulous, and two, I was in sort of a hurry when I went to Le Village. Hurrying, while trying to eat buffet style is disgusting and makes your stomach feel like it is going to pop.
Buffet food, no matter how tasty it is, is still buffet food. The food at Le Village may have been good, but in piling a random assortment of foods on my plate everything got mixed up--salmon leek sauce mixed with crab juices mixed with creamed spinach mixed with pork=gross. I ended up eating mostly crab with melted butter.
Also, I was not that impressed with the desert selection. I missed out on the crepes (the line was long and I was in a hurry to get to a show), but the cherry tart I had was boring and tasted very doughy.
The best part, besides the crab legs, was the atmosphere and our waiter. The french village theme was cute and our waiter was amazingly quick with clearing plates, bringing drinks, and checking in with us.
