  • 1st I want to say I want see every place succeed. So I hope this helps them. To tell the truth we were pretty disappointed in The Grind. To start I tripped an I almost fell on my face being seated because there was a random power cord going across the floor for Christmas decorations (which I thought tradition it goes up after thanksgiving). We sat down and checked out the apps, not a good selection at all, they need to add some real apps. Weird choice of a menu also (brown paper and mine had grease stains on it), everything was mashed together with dashes (-) and back slashes (/). Kind of confusing. I now know why everyone was not eating at the bar an just drinking, and one couple at a table shared an item.... Way to expensive. I had a Kobe burger that was not Kobe what's so ever and and it was $20.... I laughed because it was so small and I could not see it under this massive thick bun..... $20 really??? That thick bun took away from the burger. It was a $20 4oz maybe 5oz burger at the most. The burger was the only thing on my plate, to add fries it was $5 more lol. So $25 for a tiny normal burger and no side or fries...wow. My wife had to pick out the chicken and cut the fat off her chicken (wrap). She didn't finish it she was a bit grossed out. This place needs some TLC and to cut their prices almost in half. Come on guys $25 or a burger and fries. Oh and I got charged .50 for BBQ sauce and .50 for ketchup.... Good gawd. They charge for- 1.00 for tomato 1.00 for bacon .50 BBQ Sauce .50 for Ketchup (I didn't ask for) It probably was .50 for mayo and another .50 to mustard......crazy!!! So basically I could have had $23 burger and to add fries it would be $28!!!! Nuts! I looked for gold on the plate and saw none for that price. Our bill was $50 for a small spring mix salad app, burger, chicken wrap, and a small beer. Good chance we will not be back. Good happy hour it looked like, maybe that is what is keeping them afloat. Hope things change over there.
