I was so disappointed with this restaurant. First of all the decor was very charming and I really did like it, the way to get to the table was a little weird but it wasn't a deal breaker. The food however was a deal breaker. I ordered the Enmoladas and the mole was way too sweet and it was not made from scratch. My mom ordered a dish called Cesina, it was a very thin cut of steak (which granted it does say thinly cut in the menu). The taste of the steak was a very unenthusiastic "ok" but the plate came with some chilaquiles and that sauce used in that was definitely from cans. The rice looked and tasted like minute rice. We Mexicans do not eat this puffy looking wet rice! It was the weirdest thing I've ever been served at a Mexican restaurant. I have NEVER been served rice like this. The chips served with the guacamole were actually tostadas broken up and they were store bought tostadas. The guacamole was ok. I hate not being able to support a local restaurant but this was just laughable. It was definitely not getting my money's worth. If I wanted to eat the food they served I could have done so with a lot less money. Won't be coming back ever.
