My first visit was during a neat camera trade or sell day. I traded my old camera for more value than a direct sell. I expected the wait to be a bit long and I think it's great that they take time to one-on-one with customers but I noticed they have a bad habit of not acknowledging anyone other than their client which will make you feel invisible while you wait. When I was finally seen I was walked through the specs of each camera I was looking at within my budget. I decided on what I needed and there were some up-selling tactics for things I didn't need which I declined. With my trade in I spent a few hundred more for a decent set up to get back in photography. I am happy with what I got and the help I received that day overall. However the second time I visited was extremely frustrating as I watched several people around the store unattended including an older woman before me at the counter. After waiting 10 minutes, that I witnessed, she was helped and just as perturbed as I was at the employees "Sorry for the wait." towards her. Which did little to ease my annoyance and I was still seemingly unnoticed for another 10 minutes. It was only as I put on my sunglasses on my way out someone bothered to say "Sorry for the wait." A sentiment a tad too late after 20 minutes in their store. In the time I waited at B&C I instead went all the way Fry's Electronics, received help immediately, got what I needed and went home. B&C had gained my trust in becoming my go to for camera and accessories but now knowing I'd have to wait so long to make a purchase even if I know exactly what I need is too off putting.
