  • One afternoon earlier this month, I noticed that the headlight on my Chevrolet had burned out, so I immediately bought a replacement bulb with the intention of changing it out that evening. I'd never had to change a bulb on this vehicle before, and with prior vehicles, the process was pretty simple. Despite viewing a video on YouTube showing how it is done for my specific make & model of car, as I got underneath the car, it was quickly apparent that the procedure was beyond the scope of my abilities. It was very frustrating, as I'd already had a long day & was looking forward to just relaxing that evening at home, and couldn't understand why Chevrolet would make it difficult for a Traverse owner to simply swap-out a headlamp, but I'm the type of person that doesn't like driving around knowing that there's a problem with my vehicle, so I went to the Firestone location in Anthem that evening with the anticipation of paying your firm to change out the light bulb while I sat and waited, being tired, hungry, and annoyed at Chevrolet. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by employees James & Justin, and instead of having to come inside & fill out paperwork then sit & wait, they immediately had me pull up to just outside one of the maintenance bays. While I sat at the car, the two men quickly worked together to gain access to the burned out bulb via the wheel well & under the bumper area, and either they are magicians, or the bulb was simply just loose somehow, because as one started to remove the bulb, it came back to life! Had it not been for their experience - having me keep the engine running & thus headlights powered, they would not have seen the bulb come back to life, allowing me to return the replacement bulb and save me $$ until the bulb truly burns out. What was most amazing of all is that James & Dave refused to charge me for the 15 minutes time they spent helping me, and they sent me off on my way. I suddenly forgot how tired & annoyed I was, and my visit to this business became an amazing experience that was the highlight of my day. I live nearby, and used their business to have four new tires put on this same car last summer, as I sat in their comfortable waiting room while the staff was out under my car in the sweltering heat. The never tried to sell me anything that wasn't truly needed. Their service was wonderful then, but now I consider it to be truly outstanding.
