  • Love this bakery. My mom grew up in Homestead so she introduced me to this hidden treasure. When I was kid we ordered our birthday cakes from here and Gunther's (that's a throwback), and I recently just ordered another cake. They are super chill and easy to work with. They also have wonderful old-fashioned and original treats on-hand like thumbprint cookies, glazed doughnuts, and various cookies. Today's bakeries are chic, sometimes glamorous and often expensive. This is a bakery without the glitz and glamour, but downright delicious treats. And you get what you pay for. I recently ordered a half sheet cake, and it was $36. I'd say that's an excellent price compared to what I've seen! There is street parking available as well.
