| - Okay, this is my first trip to a barber shop. I've been going to the strip mall ten dollar haircut places (i.e. great clips), and realized it's time for me to step up my game. I found Floyd's because it's near a grocery store I go to regularly, and thought I'd give it a try. I've been growing in a beard for about 3 months, and needed a cleanup and shaping on the wild hairs, and I needed a haircut, too.
I was lucky enough to get Ariel, who really knows her way around a beard. We started out with the haircut, which was great. She took her time, really focused on the transition/blends, and the lines around the edge. It's the first time I've had someone use a straight razor to do my neck, and let me tell you: it was amazing. Starts with a nice warm shaving lotion, then the razor, then the warm towel. Just awesome.
Next up, Ariel worked her magic on my beard/moustache, and she really knows how to rock it. Nice warm towel to start, clippers on the volume, and some really nice detail work on the 'stache. I can't describe how awesome this was. If you're really looking to take care of yourself, and want to get your face sweater cleaned up, Ariel is the person to see at Floyd's. I won't go to anyone else.
