| - So I had a doctors appointment early this morning. Shockingly, traffic was in my favor and I got here early - so what's a girl to do? Amazingly enough, there was a spiritual glow coming from the general area of my doctors office - wait? What is that? A COFFEE SHOP next door?! I thought it was too good to be true..... alas, it was.
We walked in to a pretty hipster place with cool art, a piano, and more overused sofas/recliners than you can count. It kind of looked like the Goodwill's Rejects section - really, not cute.
Our barista was beyond rude - he couldn't be bothered to raise his eyes, say good morning, or thank me for our order. There was literally no one else he was "serving" at the time. At one point I thought maybe it was part of this place's "ambience" - nope. I think our barista just couldn't millennial today.
It took (yes, we timed it), 9 minutes to get my small cafe mocha that was okay I guess. It tastes like chocolate milk with a little coffee flavor on the finish.
At the end of the day, if you're going to advertise yourself as "bold", then maybe you should hire and serve BOLDLY. There are too many coffee places that will take my money.
I gave two stars, not one, because I liked that you serve alcohol in the evening. Other than that, the experience was weak. Like your baristas' personalities and your coffee.
