  • I had the typical spring snap on a double garage door. After seeing all of the "spring loaded" warnings I decided it wasn't a DIY project and a professional was needed. I called Smokey's after remembering they were referred by the warranty company years ago. When I called a friendly person answered and they set an appt for the next day. A two crew team arrived at the time promised and it appeared one may have been in training. I overheard Kevin (the lead tech) go through and explain each step to the other person as it was being done. It was refreshing to know this company trains their techs before just putting them on a route alone. Both techs were very informative, courteous and professional. I had both springs replaced and asked them to also look at the bottom seal since it was looking old. They had one on the truck and did this at the same time. A total turn key experience, the entire door system was checked/lubricated/adjusted, springs replaced and bottom seal all done in less than an hour. Price was reasonable and all prices stated up front. Highly recommended.
